希望中文学校成立20周年招待会在盖城新财神大酒楼（New Fortune, 16515 S Frederick Ave, Gaithersburg, MD 20877）举行。 近千人参加，招待会上还有文艺表演。首先有希望中文学校
理事长梁康之致欢迎辞并介绍来宾。中国大使馆阮平总领事及马州蒙哥马利郡郡政府主任 Ms. Ginny Gong等 致辞。第一届理事长倪涛致辞，介绍创校团队和建校经历。还宣布长期服务义工表彰名单和长期服务教师表彰名单等。招待会在热情洋溢的气氛中结束。
