中国驻美大使馆为崔天凯大使和夫人倪培君女士4月17日晚，举行到任招待会，由美国国务院常务副国务卿伯恩斯，能源部常务副部长波纳曼，商务部法律总顾问克里、副部长桑切斯、赫什洪，及白宫国安会亚洲事务高级主任拉塞尔，联邦众议员萨蒙、兰斯、孟昭文、高野、马里诺、凯利，特拉华州州长马凯，前总统国家安全事务助理伯杰，前财政部长鲍尔森，美中关系全国委员会主席希尔斯，各国驻美国使节以及美国工商界、智库、媒体、华人华侨等各界人士近600人出席。
